In addition to monetary donations, Kevin Garrison has given of his time and talent. For many years, he was involved in Pop Warner and National Youth Sports as a football coach.
A Championship Coach
He also coached the mock trial team at a Phoenix high school for more than six years. Under his leadership, the team won several state championships. For Garrison, the most rewarding part of the experience wasn't winning trophies, but seeing the students develop their intellectual abilities.
"They learned how to assess a situation, develop an argument and create a winning strategy. For some students, it turned their lives around. Some of them are now attorneys," he said.
Teaching About the Law
Kevin has taught legal courses at Phoenix Community College, Rio Salado Community College and the Academy of Business College. Kevin has presented as a speaker at seminars for other attorneys.
